Associated Materials has never had an FP&A tool or defined processes to plan, forecast or budget. AMI is a group of companies on disparate ERP's and the FP&A function was a mix of Excel, emails and calls from the various business units. This was manual, full of errors, not auditable and took a lot of time to produce. Executives also did not have any dashboarding capabilities. AMI and OnPlan partnered to transform Finance Processes and implement Oracle EPM Cloud to accomplish the objectives.
